Our photo session with Hanna this past September was a true celebration of her 30th birthday.

​Hanna originally came with an ambitious concept: swimming in a lake to celebrate her milestone birthday with a big bang. We met early in the morning, only to be greeted by an unexpectedly freezing chill that made getting into the water impossible.

​Despite the cold weather not being on our side, Hanna was the hero of the day. She posed so naturally in front of the camera, and the Pinterest mood board she had prepared ahead of time kept us focused and allowed us to make the absolute most of our time together. We made miracles happen with the morning conditions, and even though the swim didn't work out, we captured a wonderful collection of shots!
